Busy, Busy Weekend - 1st Half
My cousin and her kids came down this weekend. We had so much fun! We did so much in the two days that they were here.
Sara, Alex, and Logan got in at about 7pm Friday night. We made sure everyone had dinner, than William and Logan started making bead braclets. After a couple hours or so, we all got to bed, the kids finally fell asleep at 10:30.
Saturday morning started at 6:30 with both Logan and William awake. Breakfast was had and braclets were finished, than at 9am we were heading out the door. First on the list of activities was the kids workshop at Home Depot. The kids had a good time and did great building little planter boxes. After Home Depot we went to my Mom & Dad's house so that they could see Sara and the kids.
Mom came with us to run errands (had to go to Walmart for a birthday card, pet store & mini mart before 1pm. Just before 1pm we arrived at the Bowling Alley where William had Grace's birthday party to go to (his best friend) and my three nephew's meet us there so the rest of us could bowl. We had tons of fun bowling for the next 1 1/2 hours.
Will post more pictures later of bowiling if I can get them lightened up.
After we were done bowling we had about 1 1/2 hours to kill before the birthday party was over so we hit the two second hand shops in town. I found a great little table for between our chairs, and we all had fun trying on different things.
At 4:30 my sister and her husband took the youngest four to see "Hop", the two older boys played Xbox, and Sara, Mom, & I went to the grocery store. After an hour at the store we picked up the older boys from Tammie's house and they played basketball while we made spagetti, salad and garlic bread. By 7:30 or so dinner was done, the kitchen was clean, Mom & Austen were at her house and our youngest two were home from the movies and too full to have dinner with us.
We relaxed for a while and I made my favorite drink (Carmel Appletini) for Sara and we were in bed around 10pm.
